A product launch campaign for Fee Brothers' Fat Wash bitters, pairing high-speed macro cinematography with craft cocktail storytelling.
THE ASK
Fee Brothers makes bitters, Fee Foam™ botanical waters, mixes, brines, and flavor syrups for distribution around the world. Fee Brothers has been family-owned since 1864, one of few U.S. companies to see a 5th generation.
We are producing a multi-part video series and photo assets for the launch of Fee Brothers new product line of Fat Washes. This brief captures the creative considerations and necessities for this Fat Wash Launch shoot.
The videos will feature a bartender local to Rochester in a bar setting which reflects the style direction of the product. Additionally, some members of the Fee Brothers team may be featured to speak regarding the fat wash and process of production.
THE STORY
With a history of quality products iterated across generations, Fee Brothers embarks on a new venture with the production of Fat Washes. This product line would be the only premade fat wash on the market, a truly unique value proposition for mixologists and vendors who carry Fee Brothers.
Fee Brothers does a great job at Bitters and bitter flavor profiles. However, the industry as a whole lacks options for savory and Fee Brothers Fat Wash is the solution to fill the market gap.
Fat Washing is a technique used to infuse spirits with the rich, savory, or creamy flavors of fats. Fee Brothers Fat wash is made as an add-on, but achieves the same end result in as a traditional fat wash.
The selling point for the Fat Washes to be communicated is this: cost, convenience, quality, scalability, availability, choice to make a multi dimensional taste experience (the fat wash helps them accomplish that).
The Deliverables
"The launch films made a 160-year-old brand feel brand new."
